John Turturro wants to make a Big Lebowski spin-off about Jesus

Of all the films in the known universe The Big Lebowski might be the one that the saying “Leave well enough alone” applies the most too. A sequel would be idiotic. But what about a spin-off? Evidently John Turturro has already talked about returning to his infamous character of Jesus from the big Lebowski. 

At the Taormina Film Festival the actor said that if he can get the legal permission he’d love to return to the role. The belief is that the film would shoot in 2015, but this seems so loose that you have to take it pretty lightly. Actors say they want to tackle roles all the time again, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. Then again the Coen brothers did agree to a Fargo TV show so if he’s got the right idea maybe we’ll see Jesus bowl again.
