So far the actors who’ll likely be in Star Wars: Episode VII are Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, all of whom would reprise their roles from the original trilogy. They’re still in negotiations, as far as anyone knows. No official announcement yet from Disney.
Latino Review is now speculating that another actor is in talks for the film: Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who you may know from The Tudors, Mission: Impossible III, and Woody Allen’s Match Point. It’s unclear what role Meyers would play in the film, and it’s all rumor at this point.
If you ask me, they should cast John Rhys-Davies and give the dude a laser axe and a recurring gag where he says “Bad dates” in each film of the new trilogy.
