The worst thing to happen to the comedy duo in the history of film is about to strike again. Adam Sandler and Kevin James, possibly best known for the relentless ability to be unfunny when on screen together and yet still make money, have had their pitch for a move called Valet Guys scooped up by Sony for mid-six against seven-figures.
Keep in mind, this is simply a pitch that Sony has purchased here. There’s no actual script yet, just the idea of James and Sandler playing two valets at a hotel who see a murder and then have to go on the lamb. Originality just screams from this sucker, and with James and Nick Bakay, who produced King of Queens, writing you know it’s going to involve a bunch of fat guy jokes that aren’t actually fun.
Sometimes I hate the world.
