By While we haven’t covered it on here, there have been some major casting additions to the seventh film in the Fast & Furious franchise (which could possibly be a 70s revenge thriller). First UFC fighter Ronda Rousey joins a part akin to Gina Carano’s role in Fast and Furisix. Next, THE Tony Jaa (from Ong Bak) joins the film (in his first domestic film appearance), and now Kurt Russell is in talks for the film as well.
Variety reports that Russell is in negotiations for a unspecified role that was once turned down by Denzel Washington. I’m secretly hoping that it’s the big boss man. Russell couldn’t play second fiddle to to anyone, even one of the big boys. Now that the Fast series is everything Expendables wishes it could be, is everyone excited? YOU SHOULD BE.
