By The sorely missed director of yesteryear Luc Besson has declared his intention to helm his first substantial undertaking in far too long, and it’s another science fiction epic.
Besson, probably best known for directing La Femme Nikita and The Professional is an active writer and producer now. Aside from these duties, his most current jobs taken as a director have been for a few children’s films and the independent, black & white Angel-A.
None of these really attempted to rock the cinematic work, so I’m excited to share this news with you, even if it is a few days old. He has described his impending comeback film as “The Fifth Element to the power of ten.”
