The fact that Christopher Nolan is producing Man of Steel makes me feel much better about it than the fact that Zack Snyder is at the helm. It’s not because I don’t like Zack Snyder (I do), but Christopher Nolan has proven that he is much more capable of making comic adaptations. Snyder’s adaptations of 300 and Watchmen were fine, but in both cases, the changes/additions that he made hurt the final products.
However, unlike my love affair with Bruce “I’m Batman” Wayne, I have no real history with Clark “Not a Real Journalist” Kent. So he can bastardize the character all he wants and I won’t know the difference. Whatever Man of Steel ends up being has to be better than 2006’s Superman Returns.
Anyways, there’s a logo now, and you can see it by clicking on the image below. It looks pretty much like every other Superman logo, except this one’s made of metal, probably to show how gritty and dark the movie’s going to be.
