According to THR, Martin Sheen is currently in the final negotiation stages of grabbing the part of Uncle Ben in the new Spider-man movie. With Marc Webb as the director for the reboot project, I don’t doubt that it will turn out alright, but it bothers me that the first film is still so fresh on our minds that I don’t even need to tell you who Peter Parker’s uncle is.
If they’re truly going to replay all or even some of the events in the first Spider-Man movie, then I’ll outright refuse to see them.
