By I haven’t seen Marvel’s Iron Fist yet, but looks like I’m going to have to squeeze that in soon since the big team up show, The Defenders, already looks fantastic. Crossing over four different shows — Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist — this first trailer shows us a lot of what we can expect seeing these guys interact with one another. The expected jokes, figuring out each other’s powers, and of course, another hallway fight.
I’m such a sucker for crossovers, and rather than feel like another Avengers, this feels like a big event episode of a series where characters from different series pop up in each other’s world. While the trailer seems to tease a big Daredevil story, and Sigourney Weaver doing her villain thing, I’m hoping everyone comes out better after this.
The Defenders premieres on Netflix August 18th.
