Man of Steel has certainly caused a ruckus with the Flixist staff. Hubes outright hates it, Matt liked it to a certain degree, Alec liked everything but the ending, I love pancakes, but we can all mostly agree that Man of Steel was not really a Superman movie. And now Max Landis, best known for writing the surprising Chronicle and his Death of Superman video, filmed a little rant about his take on Man of Steel.
What did he think? He thinks Man of Steel is a reflection of the death of superhero films. So it’s basically what Hubes has been saying the whole time. All that Dragonball Z style action and wanton destruction? None of it belongs in a Superman movie. What do you think about Landis’s opinion?
