Melissa McCarthy stars in teaser for Tammy

In Tammy, Melissa McCarthy plays a woman having the worst day of work (and maybe of life) ever, and this prompts her to try to leave town. However, she’s car-less and penniless, so she hitches a ride with her grandma, played by Susan Sarandon, and hits the road.

While this teaser is short, it’s pretty funny, and gives us a good idea of the tone of the movie and an idea of what McCarthy’s character will be like. Tammy will have a prime Summer release date of July 2nd.
