By I’m not the hugest fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I understand the very thought of Michael Bay going through a franchise I enjoy and possibly mucking up the whole thing for everybody. And even if I’ll stick by Michael Bay (given that he’s made Pain & Gain, one of my Top 15 films of 2013), I’ll be the first to admit when I think a design looks totes uggo.
The image in the gallery below is a leaked Halloween costume apparently based off of Bay’s troubling TMNT reboot releasing sometime this year. This is by no means a confirmation of design, but if the final is anything close to this (complete with jeans and henna tattoos) we’re in for an ugly bunch of turtles. Let’s hope their personalities at least came out okay.
