By A while back, Geoff did some fine journalism about a story that would see Michael Cera hablaing Espanol in Sebastian Silva’s (The Maid) next project. Well, it seems like that movie will be called Magic, Magic. The movie is about “a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties. She tries to get her friends’ attention, but they ignore her until it’s too late.” At least, that’s what Variety says.
It seems as though Mikey won’t be playing the lead in this one, however, so there’s that. Also of note, the hoser himself is brushing up on his Spanish skills, working up to five hours a day on the language. I wish I had that kind of dedication. The only thing I spend five hours a day on is napping. And it’s not like anyone will hire me based on my napping dedication.
