Mondo teams w/ Drew Struzan for Thing screen print

About a month ago we highlighted Jay Shaw’s Rocky III Mondo poster as part of The Alamo Drafthouse’s Summer of 1982 film series. This Friday, they’re showing John Carpenter’s The Thing, and as a special treat, Mondo has some limited edition screen prints of Drew Struzan’s original poster art. No titles, no credits, just that magnificently creepy figure. Each print will be signed by Struzan himself, and you have two options:

  • 28″ X 34″ regular screen print for $250 (edition of 440)
  • 28″ X 34″ glow-in-the-dark screen print for $350 (edition of 150)

Ticket holders in attendance at the Drafthouse this Friday will get first dibs on prints, and non-ticket holders will need to line up in a separate queue. Limit of one poster per customer, and they won’t be providing poster tubes (though you’re welcome to bring one yourself). For full purchasing details, check out the Mondo blog.
