Hello everyone who doesn’t live in the U.S. Today is your day to finally gloat about getting something the U.S. does not, as on April 15 you will be the first to receive the gift of God that is Monty Python on Netflix. Of course we all already own all the movies listed below, but now you won’t have to waste time putting an annoying disc into an annoying slot in order to sing along to “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.”
The Pythons announced the releases today, and listed whats coming:
• Monty Python’s Personal Best
• Monty Python Best Bits (mostly)
• Monty Python Live (mostly): One Down, Five to Go
• Monty Python Conquers America
• The Meaning of Monty Python
• Monty Python: The Meaning of Live
That’s a lot of fantastic comedy right there stretching over their entire career and a bit further along. Sadly, the U.S. won’t be getting all of these and won’t be getting them as soon as the rest of the world. This probably has to do with some stupid distribution rights, but it is what it is.
Now all we need is Flying Circus to get on here because we all need to be streaming the “Dead Parrot” sketch over and over forever.
