Last week was our huge Pixar debate where we had over 50 comments! It was a great to see so many new community member faces and I expect to see many of them again this week! So which animated film wins our 2011 Pixar trophy? Hit the jump to read how all the films ranked!
This week we take on a more pressing box office matter: another Kevin James film is approaching. This week I’m on a family reunion vacation, which means I get the chance to see what kind of jokes five-year-olds find hilarious, and Kevin James is pretty much the quintessential clown these days. In that sense, I guess you could say I vicariously like his movies? Every movie will be liked by someone, and that’s why they should all exist, but Flixist doesn’t get read by too many kids. If so, then where were you last week?!
He’s been in about ten films and it’s our job to debate which of them was the worst. Feel free to judge by how bad his character was, or how bad the entire film was overall, or blindfold yourself and throw darts at him, but whatever you do, don’t type “Kevin James sucks” in a Google image search. You’ve been warned.
Here are the Pixar debate results:
- The Incredibles (6 votes) — Winner Tie!
- Up (6 votes) — Winner Tie!
- Toy Story 3 (5 votes)
- Wall·E (4 votes)
- Toy Story 1 (3 votes)
- Finding Nemo (2 votes)
- A Bug’s Life (2 votes)
- Monster’s Inc. (2 votes)
- Toy Story 2 (1 vote)
- Ratatouille (1 vote)
- Cars (1 vote)
A tie! Looks like we’ll just have to have another vote during next year’s Pixar Week. Yes, Pixar week will probably be a yearly ordeal! If there’s enough interest in it, I could break the tie by adding up every single ranking’s votes (11 points for favorite, 1 for least favorite) and post the results next week.
