Netflix Now: Bill Murray Hoax Edition

0

With the Disney/Netflix streaming deal, I suppose this could have been a Disney edition of Netflix Now. But instead, today’s installment commemorates yesterday’s hoax that Bill Murray called Harold Ramis to accept a role in Ghostbusters 3. I almost reported on it, but thankfully didn’t. I needed a place to dump this header. On the note of Bill Murray, I think we still have free passes to Hyde Park on Hudson in the Washington DC area.

With Disney on board the Netflix stream train, a couple of their classics are now online, including Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats, Dumbo, The Great Mouse Detective (yes!), and Pocahontas. The Muppet Movie is also on Watch Instantly now, which fills me with something you humans call “joy.” For some reason Sexy Beast being on Netflix Instant fills me with a similar sensation, if only to see Ben Kingsley pull off a great performance as an awful person.

The Charlize Theron film Young Adult is now on Instant, as is the Jet Li/Tsui Hark film Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, the stonerpiece Half Baked, How I Met Your Mother (which should make Geoff happy), and Bad Boys II, which means that excrement just got actualized.

Get your pot of coffee ready and check out what’s new on Netflix Instant after the cut.

New additions to Netflix Watch Instantly apply only to readers in the United States. For those in other parts of the world, your choices may vary.
