There are a lot of good things on Netflix this week. The list of new items is large and varied, and there’s something to fit most tastes. Normally, I would point out some key interesting choices in different genres to stimulate different interests.You know, doing something relatively professional.
Not this week, though. This week, The 10th Kingdom is on Netflix. That is my favorite not-quite-a-movie ever. Originally a TV miniseries, I’ve only ever seen it stitched together into the seven-hour monstrosity of a movie that it is. It’s a fairy tale for grown-ups, with some terrible editing and worse acting, and the only people who don’t like it are terrorists and Max Roahrig. Don’t let the Roahrig terrorists win, folks.
