Wow, remind me never to complain about Netflix’s selection again. After last week’s disappointing additions, I guess Netflix Watch Instantly decided it would take its ball and go home, because barely anything has been added this week. To make it even worse, what was added was buried under about 2000 test entries for a “TV Mega-series.” So yeah, this week’s Netflix Now is a little light.
You’re mainly getting some documentaries, mostly from PBS. One of the more interesting-looking ones is Rock Prophecies, which chronicles stories about old and new musicians. Frontline has one on the BP oil spill last year. PBS’s take on Macbeth is also on offer, featuring Patrick Stewart wearing a Russian uniform since it’s a modern update.
Man, this update is such a bummer. Next week has to be better, right?
