By Marvel’s The Punisher posted this nifty little gif announcement to Facebook yesterday letting the world know that Jon Bernthal would return as Frank Castle for a second season of Netflix’s The Punisher.
Team: this thing released less than a month ago on November 17, and already Netflix has renewed it. Traditional TV standards of measurement and metrics be damned! Netflix can release a movie, take a week or two, and already know if it justifies further investment. You know that TV executives everywhere are clenching buttholes in frustration just imagining ease of analysis like that. They have to wait entire months sometimes!
Then again, even Iron Fist got a second season, so maybe the Netflix suits are just confused.
