Netflix serves up a teaser for its Cuphead series

It’s been a little over a year since we last heard anything about Netflix’s Cuphead series, but progress hasn’t slowed down. In fact, we now have a short glimpse of what the series will look like thanks to a new clip shared by the streaming juggernaut. As Studio MDHR (developers behind the game) tweeted out, this is the first time we’re hearing the voices of protagonists Cuphead and Mugman.

I’m not sure how the series will turn out, but the animation is on point. The inspiration this series comes from had a style inspired by the likes of classic Disney and Warner Bros. cartoons and I’m happy that is being retained. It doesn’t hurt that MDHR is involved, which will likely ensure authenticity when it comes to story beats.
