New Bond site launches with vid, synopsis

You may have noticed that new Bond is coming out next Nov. 9 thanks to the fact that Xander and I have problems not writing about every little detail that pops up about the film. But it is possible that Flixist just doesn’t generate enough Bond content for you, and so I introduce the renovated 007.com.

The site comes complete with the above welcome video, a blog promising to document the film’s production and, of course, a countdown clock (we must know the exact second until release!). It also has a lot of other Bond history in it thanks to this being the 50th anniversary of the character in cinema. You can flip through a plethora of gadgets, cars, stills and other cool stuff and remember all the good times you’ve had with 007 in a movie theater.

Finally, but most certainly not least, we have a new synopsis for the film: Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
