New, epic trailer for nature documentary Watermark

Watermark is a new feature length documentary about humans’ relationships with water, and presumably with our planet on a global scale. Watermark is a collaboration between filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier, and photographer Edward Burtynsky. The trio also collaborated to create another gigantic, sweeping, environmental doc; 2006’s Manufactured Landscapes. (Which if you haven’t seen, I’d totally recommend!)

If Watermark will follow anywhere near the steps of its predecessor, it will deliver a gorgeous, fantastically-filmed and ecologically hyper-aware movie of an epic scale. Watermark will come crashing to select theaters on April 4th, 2014.
