Continuing with the eye-candy as only Baz Lurhman can, these three character posters for 2013’s The Great Gatsby premiered online today. Featuring actresses Elizabeth Debicki and Ilsa Fisher as well as actor Joel Edgerton, each poster includes a small excerpt of text that describes each character, including words such as “smouldering,” “tantalizing” and “careless,” all of which really serve the general themes of The Great Gatsby quite well.
Despite my reservations about taking a classic piece of American literature to the screen, I really want to see this movie. If only, perhaps, for the glamour of it all.
