A new batch of images from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey appeared online recently. Not only do we get more looks at the dwarves, including Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and his big sword, but there’s also an image of Thranduil, father of Legolas, played by Lee Pace.
There was a banner for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey as well, which is broken up into four separate images in the gallery. If indications are correct, the banner depicts the events covered in the first movie of the Hobbit trilogy, and may hint at how the movies will be broken up. There are no details on the third Hobbit film as of now, but perhaps it will just be The Battle of the Five Armies for three hours set to some Led Zeppelin songs.
Check out the images in the gallery. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes out December 14th, 2012; The Hobbit: There and Back Again comes out December 13th, 2013; and The Hobbit: Hubba, Hubba, Hubba, Money, Money, Money comes out summer 2014.
