By The release of RZA’s The Man with the Iron Fists is less than a month away, and a bunch of posters for the film recently showed up online. These 16 posters were commissioned from various artists located all over the globe, and some of them are pretty awesome. My favs are the Rocky IV hand punch with butterflies (pictured above), the bloody fist, and the two that look like woodcuts.
Incidentally, “Rocky IV Hand Punch with Butterflies” is also my favorite Edward Hopper painting, though that was its original name before the gallery types got hold of it and renamed it “Arrival of Autumn Fog.” He made it look very ruminative and melancholy.
