By This week is pretty stacked, for better or for worse. As far as headliners go, Jason Statham and Ben Foster kill people in cool was in The Mechanic, Leighton Meester is a creeper in The Roommate, Anthony Hopkins is kind of a creeper in The Rite, things go awry in a frat initiation in Brotherhood, people straight up vanish in Vanishing on 7th Street, and Natalie Portman is, as usual, a fox in The Other Woman.
Elsewhere, Deep Red is re-released, so those of you who heard the Blood Grinder guys recommend it last week can pick that up. Beverly Hills Cop gets a Blu-ray, so you can watch Eddie Murphy in his prime and groove to the greatest movie theme of all time (sorry Star Wars). Finally, Thor fans can go deeper with the animated anthology Thor: Tales of Asgard.
