New Releases, week of 5/11/13: Heading Upstream Edition

First off, sorry this edition of New Releases is a day later than usual. Running behind with lots of things this week. Netflix Now will also be a day late. I owe you an ice cream.*

The new releases this week include Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise, Safe Haven, Mama, Revenge for Jolly, and Superman: Unbound, but the biggie for me is Upstream Color, one of my favorite movies of 2013 so far. I even wrote a lengthy Deep Analysis of Upstream Color a few weeks ago because the movie obsessed me so much. If you buy the movie direct from Shane Carruth’s erbp website, you can also buy 27″ x 40″ film posters, film and soundtrack downloads, and much more.

On the re-release side, there’s a Criterion Collection Blu-ray for Jean-Luc Goddard’s Band of Outsiders, a couple of multi-movie packs, and reissues of Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo on DVD.
