The biggest home video release this week is most definitely Iron Man 3. I didn’t like the film as much as most folks did, but it has its charms I guess. Whatever. If Iron Man 3 isn’t your bag, then luckily there’s a good amount of other stuff out on home video also.
There’s Room 237, that interesting but so-so documentary about Stanley Kubrick’s version of The Shining, V/H/S/2 the horribly titled sequel to the found footage horror phenomenon, VHS, and the first season of Hannibal is finally out! I haven’t seen the show yet, so I guess I don’t have an excuse anymore! In terms of re-releases, Good Burger is getting a DVD release (again?), Halloween (the good one, not the awful remake one which had like 119 minutes of sex scenes) is getting a 35th Anniversary Edition, and Christopher Nolan’s so-so Dark Knight Trilogy now has a fancy box set thing.
Hit the jump for the list of home video releases for the week.
