By Brad Bird may have gotten his start at Pixar, but the guy is a fantastic action director as Ghost Protocol and The Incredibles showed us, and this new trailer for Tomorrowland demonstrates that the film is taking advantage of his skills.
While the previous trailers focused far more and the wonder and fantasy of the film this one is all out action set pieces, with a special focus on one of the earlier ones involving robots and George Clooney beating up robots. It gives the film a bit more of a generic feel, but coupled with the previous trailers it’s pretty clear Tomorrowland is anything but.
If you just can’t wait for the film to release on May 22nd, don’t worry. Disney is attaching six minutes of it to the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Of course everyone was going to see that anyway so now everyone is going to see six minutes of Tomorrowland as well.
