It’s been a while since we’ve had some natural disaster schlock to look at in the movie theater. Superheroes, monsters and toy franchises have taken over the multiplex and that leaves little room for twisters and other deadly weather. Into the Storm clearly fixes this with basically every deadly weather ever and all of the possible deadly weather movie cliches you’ve come to love (note: flying cow not yet confirmed).
The new trailer shows over more of the film than the new one and gives us a good run down of the plot, which is people get killed by deadly storms. There really looks to be almost nothing new or different about this disaster movie, but sometimes a good dose of the same old thing is what you need. Could be fun.
