By The new Ninja Turtles movie, aptly called Ninja Turtles, has had plenty of casting news, but the only name to really be a head turner is Meagan Fox as April O’Neil (and a mystery appearance by Will Arnett). Keeping in line with that the casting of Danny Woodburn, best known as Mickey from Seinfeld, as Splinter lands another name who no one will really recognize. Of course all the turtles and Splinter are CGI so the casting of big stars is almost moot.
I’m sure Woodburn is a solid voice actor and can definitely see him working Splinter, but at this point I want to start seeing some of the movie. The things been delayed, and reworked so many times I’m not sure what to expect at this point. Don’t fail me, Michael Bay.
