Well, don’t I feel silly. Mel Gibson’s cameo in The Hangover 2 has been cut, and it looks like it may be the cast’s fault. Todd Philips, the film’s director, was quoted saying, in regards to Mel’s original hiring, that “this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew.†Which means s**t went down, son. In addition, /Film goes on to note a quote from Zack Galifinakis from earlier in the week stating his frustration with a movie he’s currently filming, which could only be Hangover 2.
I was looking forward to seeing Mel back into a comedic role, but I guess we’ll have to wait for…the end of the universe maybe?
