[For the next two weeks, Alec will be covering select films from the New York Asian Film Festival. For complete coverage of the festival, make sure to check out the page for the tag “NYAFF11.” Keep watching throughout the weeks as we bring you more reviews!]
The first week (and a bit) of the New York Asian Film Festival has come to an end! There are only four more days (including today) where you can go see screenings of some absolutely fantastic Asian films. Many of the screenings coming into the final week are being attended by directors, actors, producers, and other people involved in the production of the films. Having that experience is truly awesome. If you like Japanese films specifically, a related but entirely different festival has you covered there too. Do not fret, though, I still have more reviews coming, so keep an eye out for the rest of the week for the last days of our Flixist coverage of the 10th anniversary of NYAFF! For now, check below to see what’s gone down so far!
