By If I wasn’t excited for Red Tails before (I was) I am now. At NYCC the producers, a member of the Tuskegee Airmen and two of the film’s cast walked us through making the film. They laid down some pretty interesting stuff, especially about the training they did for flying, but the stuff that got me really excited were these two clips that you see below.
They really wanted to capture the kind of dogfights present in Star Wars except without, you know, the stars. With ILM behind the scenes they seem to have done it. Check out the vids and let us know what you think. Sorry about the blur during some of it, my camera was being quite strange.
