In Maxime Pecourt’s posters for the Indiana Jones trilogy (*ahem* trilogy), you notice an immediate affinity for objects. It makes sense since the procurement of artifacts is what sets these films in motion — the Ark of the Covenant, the Sankara stones, the Holy Grail.
There’s a cool design sense in these posters. More than that, it’s fun to identify every object depicted and try to recall where they fit into each of these films. It’s a but like visual archaeology.
