Look, I know 3D and re-releases are a racket that Hollywood runs and the rest of us just go along with it unwillingly like the fools we are, but I want to be honest with you guys about this: I am seriously excited about seeing Jurassic Park in 3D. Not because I enjoy 3D films, but because I will take any excuse I can to see this film in theaters again. Jurassic Park was one of the most influential franchises to have a hand in my childhood, right after Ghostbusters and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so in this one particular case I will be gladly handing my hard-earned cash over.
With that little confession out of the way, I present to you the first official poster for Jurassic Park‘s 3D re-release, which is due in the theaters April 5, 2013. The film will be digitally restored and presented to a new generation of soon-to-be dinosaur lovers. Personally, I watch this movie at least once or twice a year and still feel that it holds up remarkably well, so I can only imagine how great it will look remastered on the big screen. Who else out there is excited for this? Stand with me!
