Everybody who has an even passing knowledge of Flixist knows of my undying admiration for Olivia Thirlby. Practically every tip that comes in involving the New York native passes through my eyes first. Already facing a stacked 2011, Thirlby was recently cast into yet another role.
Deadline is reporting Thirlby was cast in a role for Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, joining Robert De Niro and Paul Dano. The film, which is an adaptation of the Nick Flynn memoir, is “about an unconventional relationship that exists between a father and son while the latter is employed as a caseworker at a Boston homeless shelter.”
The film follows the already released No Strings Attached, Judge Dredd reboot, and The Darkest Hour, leaving Thirlby extremely busy with work, which would possibly explain why my emails and phone calls haven’t been returned. I totally understand, Liv, you’re busy. I’ll be here, waiting patiently.
