It’s been close to two years now since we’ve heard anything about the Animaniacs revival coming to Hulu. While we knew Steven Speilberg would be attached, we’ve now got confirmation that the original voice cast will be returning, as well.
The news broke from the unofficial Animaniacs podcast “The Animanicast.” Getting an exclusive interview with the trio of actors, it was revealed that Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, and Jess Harnell will be returning to voice Yakko, Dot, and Wakko respectively. Maurice LaMarche is also attached and will likely be contributing as the voice of The Brain (which he did on the original series run).
I’ll admit that I forgot this revival was even happening, but it’s nice that the original actors will be returning. That also fills me with relief when I hear it for any reboot.
