By Right when we thought we might be safe from another board game movie, Hasbro decided to let us know exactly how persistent they are. Even though Universal dropped the film, Habro is pushing on, hiring Marti Noxon of Fright Night and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to have a go at the script. The movie is supposed to be a family movie about a board game with supernatural powers that wreaks havoc on the people who play it. I certainly haven’t seen anything like it before!
Of course, without a production company, the script can’t got a lot further, but I have a feeling it might get picked up, especially if Battleship does well.
