Pedro Pascal, know for portraying Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, will star in Disney’s new Star Wars television show, The Mandalorian.
The slow drip of information on The Mandalorian has been agonizing, but promising. We know Jon Favreau created and wrote the series. We know it’ll premiere on Disney’s streaming service, Disney+. We know there are some big-name directors attached to the project as well, among them Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni.
Now, knowing the charismatic Pascal is at the forefront of the series, I’m on board. Pascal has stolen the thunder of every show he’s been in, whether on the small screen or the silver screen. Oberyn Martell is still one of my favorite side characters from Game of Thrones, and his performance in Kingsman: The Golden Circle made an otherwise forgettable sequel worth watching.
The Mandalorian arrives on Disney+ sometime in 2019.
