There’s great poster art out there and then there’s bad poster art out there. Then there’s poster art that’s just plain boring. This follows under the boring section. Johnny Depp… looking at sh*t. Yea, that makes me want to see this soooo bad.
To be truthful, Johnny Depp staring at anything probably brings in half the audience they want and then the words “Pirates of the Caribbean” plastered underneath brings in the other half. I do enjoy the painted background of the poster, but I think they could have gone some more interesting directions with this. Maybe some sweet swashbuckling action or something.
