By As we’ve seen in the past couple trailers for Rock of Ages, this musical to movie adaptation seems like basically nothing but loud, sweeping musical numbers with heaping spoonfuls of Hollywood nostalgia. This new poster for Rock of Ages underscores that movie is really not looking to do anything other than rock out. And somehow, I am really okay about that.
Sure, there’s the storyline of the small-town girl and the city boy finding love while searching for their dreams, as well as a baboon dressed in a studded leather jacket, but really, I think that all that Rock of Ages is going to want to do is have a good time.
