By Whether we like it or not (and despite rumblings of pre-production trouble), Fox is moving forward with a sequel to the blockbuster head scratcher, Prometheus, just as Noomi Rapace hinted at a few months back. Hey it’s not all bad news, so come back! While most of us are going to write off a second Prometheus, because come on, there’s still hope as Jack Palgen (who’s currently working on Transcendence) is in talks to write the script. This is great news as long as Damon Lindelof can keep from ruining this new script too.
Other details, like story and cast, are scarce but Rapace and Michael Fassbender are expected to return. Ridley Scott will produce, but hasn’t confirmed directing duties yet. So keep ya head up! Wait a minute…isn’t the sequel to Prometheus…Alien? Oh boy, my head already hurts.
