I know we’re well-connected with the gaming and Destructoid community, so I figured we’d do a special PSA for the gaming documentary darling, Indie Game: The Movie. As if the headline wasn’t telling enough, the documentary that gives a behind the scenes look at indie game development has just been released online today. Our departed editor, Allistair Pinsof, gave the film a solid score, but with most documentaries, it’ll cater primarily to those interested in the subject matter. Gamers, I think this is a documentary you wouldn’t mind giving some time and attention to.
There are a plethora of options to view the documentary: If you’re an Apple fanatic, you can get it from iTunes. If you spend the majority of your time playing TF2 and consider Steam to be your holy grail, they also have the film, marking it as the first film to be released on the platform. Or, if you want to be extra supportive, you can simply download Indie Game: The Movie directly from the filmmakers themselves.
