By Fans have been up in arms about the adjective-deficient Ninja Turtles, even though very little is known about the movie except that it will destroy all childhoods ever. Being derided by the entire human race has never stopped Michael Bay, however, and judging by comments left on the tumblr of rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is the frankly heroic Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, it seems he may have recruited his first actual human for the movie. Posted alongside a Turtles sketch (see the header), Cudi declared:
An original one of a kind sketch of a unknown Ninja Turtle by one half of the creators, Kevin Eastman. A gift given to me by my homies Andrew Form and Brad Fuller over at Platinum Dunes. Hint hint mane.
I haven’t the foggiest clue what ‘hint hint mane’ means, because I don’t speak rapper and have the street cred of a sausage roll, but Fuller tweeted a Huffington Post article about Cudi’s comments, so it’s pretty much official. Whether Cudi will be classic Will Smithing (acting and rapping) or modern Will Smithing (just acting) remains unknown. In the meantime, he assured fans they have nothing to worry about regarding the adaptation, so that was nice of him.
