Red Band Trailer: Let the Bullets Fly

Here is the red band trailer for Let the Bullets Fly, the film with the highest domestic box office gross in China and Hong Kong. And this looks absolutely bananas fun. Directed by and starring Jiang Wen (Warriors of Heaven and Earth, In the Heat of the Sun), the film also stars charming badass Chow Yun-Fat.

Here’s a synopsis of the film:

Set in China during the warring 1920s, notorious bandit chief Zhang (Jiang) descends upon a remote provincial town posing as its new mayor, an identity that he had hijacked from Old Tang (Ge You), himself a small-time imposter. Hell-bent on making a fast buck, Zhang soon meets his match in the tyrannical local gentry Huang (Chow) as a deadly battle of wit and brutality ensues.

Let the Bullets Fly will be out in select theaters and available via VOD starting March 2nd.
