We posted a truncated, crap quality version of this trailer last week, and let me tell you something, after watching the full, heavily NSFW trailer you see above, I am definitely intrigued by this remake of Maniac starring Elijah “Cyborg Superman” Wood. It’s looking deeply disturbing, with snatches of a horrific performance from Mr. Frodo on display. The film’s got big shoes to fill, since the original 1980s Maniac is one of the classic horror/thriller/serial killer movies, but I’m definitely pulling for the film to succeed where so many remakes have failed before.
