I have a weird relationship with horror movies. I love them, but not because they frighten me. No, instead I get a perverse joy out of watching other people get scared, and often I have to convince a friend or two to watch a horror movie with me in the creepiest setting possible just to get my kicks. Sinister looks like it is going to fill that need rather nicely.
I really like everything I’ve seen so far, which is a blessing since there really aren’t many quality horror movies that are released regularly. I only hope the film can maintain the vibe this trailer is presenting. So many horror films end up succumbing to cheesiness by the time their credits role. I’m looking at you Insidious.
