A dead patriarch, disturbed brother, missing child, mysterious lake, and secret pagan cult are a lot to stuff into one movie. It’s like a plot pierogi ready to burst–but Red Handed is willing to risk spilling that hot potato filling all over the place for its eerie family mystery.
Featuring Micheal Madsen (who may only be in the movie for all of six seconds), the film follows a trio of brothers in the Oregon mountains (the most mysterious of mountains) as they spread their father’s ashes. Soon, however, one’s son disappears, and it seems the mentally disturbed outcast of the bunch has some secrets he may not even remember himself. Can they unlock the mystery in time to save the child? I’m going to say no. Absolutely not. It’ll never happen.
Red Handed will hit DVD and VOD on December 3, 2019.
