We recently got our first look at Robert Pattinson in-cowl for upcoming brooding tights extravaganza The Batman, and now we’re getting a peek at the Caped Crusader’s ride. Courtesy of director Matt Reeves, we’ve got some new pics to pore over for Pattinson’s Batman, and Rob has some wheels.

Going for a decidedly-muscle car look, this Batmobile would appear to be little less literally-edgy (as in, literally having lots of edges) than the ‘Mobile found in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, while scaling things back even further than Christopher Nolan’s military-realism in his films.
For reference, the Tumbler of The Dark Knight Trilogy:
The Batmobile as it appears in Justice League:
And the pimpin’ new Patmobile:
It’s certainly the closest to, well, a real car the iconic four-wheeler has looked perhaps ever. If nothing else, I’m continually impressed by the atmosphere Reeves’ teases are perpetuating; Batman is brooding! Let the man brood! Take a look in the gallery for more foggy, sad, my-parents-are-dead shots of the man and his machine.
With Zoe Kravitz set for the role of cat-burglar extraordinaire Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright taking up the paperwork as Jim Gordon, and a positive rogue’s gallery of other big names joining the project, the pieces are falling into place for The Batman. Though with a June 25, 2021 release date more than a year off, there’s still time for the film to marinate. Who knows! Maybe we can get the Internet huffing and puffing over it again!
